Biography: Rohail Hassan, Ph.D., is a Senior Lecturer of Corporate Governance and Finance at Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB), Universiti Utara Malaysia, and Chartered Fellow: FCMI by CMI, UK. His research interests include corporate governance, board diversity, women empowerment, gender-related issues, diversity and inclusion, gender diversity, ESG, Sustainability, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence in business, big data and analytics, firm performance, and strategy. The main research has been published in leading management journals and top-tier peer-reviewed journals ABS ranked like (e.g., Journal of Business Research (3*), Asia Pacific Journal of Management (3*), IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management (3*), Technological Forecasting and Social Change (3*), International Journal of Information Management (2*), Journal of Management and Organization (2*), Maritime Policy & Management (2*), Journal of Cleaner Production (2*), Journal of Intellectual Capital (2*), Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research (1*), Utilities Policy (1*), Economics Bulletin, Sustainability, Thunderbird International Business Review, Quality & Quantity and International Journal of Financial Studies). In total, he has published over 80 refereed journal articles to date. He is currently working as a Series Editor for the work titled “Big Data for Industry 4.0: Challenges and Applications” – by Taylor & Francis Group. In addition, Rohail is also serving as Associate Editor for Frontiers in Environmental Science and Register: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknologi Sistem Informasi" and an International Editorial Board Member for the International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, Asia-Pacific Journal of Business Administration, Journal of Risk and Financial Management and Editor of Humanities and Social Sciences Reviews, and Guest Editor and Reviewer to several prestigious academic journals such as Corporate Governance: An International Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Management and Organization (JMO), International Journal of Finance and Economics (IJFE), Journal of Cleaner Production, and Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management. Rohail is a Certified Lead Auditor / Professional Trainer and management consultant in Corporate Governance and ESG, Panel Data Analysis, Inferential Statistics, and STATA software, among others. Besides, he is a Fellow Member of Charted Management Institute (CMI) and the International Society for Organizational Change and Development (ISODC), Financial Management Association International (FMA), American Finance Association (AFA), and International Research Institute for Economics and Management (IRIEM).
