Biography: Marlin Marissa Malek is an Associate Professor of International Business Management. She is also the Director of Student Experience and Customer Care. Marlin has published many articles in international refereed journals such as Journal of World Business and International Journal of Human Resource Management. She has successfully supervised a number of Doctoral students. Marlin is a certified HRDF Trainer, and her areas of training expertise are generational differences, diversity management, cross-cultural management, and ‘Train-the-Trainer’. She has helped develop training contents for training collaborations with a number of foreign universities such as Cambridge Judge Business School, Kellogg School of Management, and Michigan State University. For her outstanding contributions to the University, she received the Excellence Service Award in 2005 and 2013. Marlin is also an avid sportswoman and represents UUM in athletics at the inter-university games and plays futsal and volleyball in the UUM's inter-staff game.
