Biography: Bharat is an entrepreneur and an educationist who once had a torrid love affair with Physics. He has radically advanced in the field of Strategy and Analytics. He has been instrumental in turning around loss making restaurants, hotels, manufacturing units and technology companies besides being involved in founding stages of several educational institutions. During his PhD, he was president of doctoral student body. He founded "Specialists India" to network more than 600 management researchers. He was also founder Executive Chairman of "Research Maverick" – a platform for PhDs scholars and Researchers for training, mentoring and coaching. He has worked with MNCs like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Kie Square Consulting, Institute for Customer Relationship Management (iCRM) in Business Intelligence, Financial Services Consulting, Big Data & Advanced Analytics, Marketing & Communication Strategy and Digital & Social Media. In the past, he worked on assignments with international agencies such as IMF, World Bank, Royal Netherland Embassy, etc. His passion for teaching has taken him to many management and technology schools as visiting faculty, guest speaker, academic advisor, and editorship of scholarly journals. He has been Associate Dean of Liberal School at FLAME, Founding Director of MBA program with an institute affiliated to the University of Pune. He holds a doctorate in Statistics & Quantitative Sciences from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He has advanced training in optimisation, algorithms, statistics, simulation and numerical techniques. When he is not teaching or consulting, he can be found meditating or heading for an adventurous trek.
