About Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Change (i-LEAD4CHANGE)

The Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Change, or in short i-LEAD4CHANGE, at Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) was established in August 2016. The establishment of i-LEAD4CHANGE is to provide support not only to achieve OYAGSB’s mission of “high impact and quality research, publications and consulting services”, but also to spearhead research, consultancy and publication activities that reflects OYAGSB’s tagline – Transforming Leaders for Sustainable Business and Society. In this regards, i-LEAD4CHANGE provides a platform for OYAGSB to conduct academically rigorous, practical, and relevant research related activities within the complex and dynamic relationships between business growth, social progress and development, leadership and innovation. The research at i-LEAD4CHANGE is focused on addressing the real issues and problems of businesses and society, which will not only enhance understanding of the issues and problems per se, but more importantly, contribute towards solving the problems and ultimately make a difference in growth, development and sustainability of businesses and society. This reflects the tagline of i-LEAD4CHANGE - “We do Research that Matters”.

The vision and mission of i-LEAD4CHANGE is as follows:

Vision: Become leading research institute in fostering growth, development and sustainability of businesses and society which is recognised by the industry and society.

Mission: To undertake research and consultancy projects that enhance understanding of the complex and dynamic relationships between business and social change, leadership and innovation that will foster growth, development and sustainability of businesses and society.
