OYAGSB Receives The CEEMAN IQA Accreditation

Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) received yet another international recognition when its Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) received accreditation from the CEEMAN International Quality Accreditation (IQA).

The accreditation lasts for six years and OYAGSB will be re-evaluated once again in 2024.

The process of obtaining this accreditation began in December 2016 after OYAGSB was deemed qualified to be assessed by the international body.

Subsequently the document for assessment was formally sent in May 2017 and finally evaluated in February 2018.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dato' Seri Dr. Mohamed Mustafa Ishak said the recognition by CEEMAN IQA helped to strengthen the institution competitive advantage and the position of OYAGSB at both the national and international levels.

"Institutions accredited by CEEMAN IQA benefit from increased collaboration with reputable and credible international businesses and academic partners," he said.
