PROF NORAZAH EXCELLED AT MALAYSIA'S RESEARCH STAR AWARD 2018

Sepang - Prof. Ts. Dr. Norazah Mohd Suki, a Professor at Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) received the Prominent Topics in Research Award at the Malaysia's Research Star Award (MRSA) and CREAM Journal Recognition 2018 at Sama-Sama Hotel, recently.

Prof. Ts. Dr Norazah said the award was an acknowledgment of her performance and contribution in research that is related to Behaviour, Recycling and Green Purchase.

According to her, the award was the result of a prominent and significant research evaluation at   international level. “Consumer Environmental Concern and Green Product Purchase in Malaysia: Structural Effects of Consumption Values” published in the Journal of Cleaner Production (5.651) and “Modeling the Determinants of Consumers' Attitudes toward Online Group Buying: Do Risks and Trusts Matters?” published in the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services (Impact Factor = 2.919) were amongst her research topics.

Prof. Ts. Dr. Norazah has published more than 300 papers in referenced journals, chapters in books, books and conference papers detailing research activities, as well as coordinating and participating in research projects.

She is also an editor of the SCOPUS indexed book, besides recording SCOPUS h-index of 16.

The MRSA Award is presented to local researchers as recognition and appreciation of their success in producing high-quality research and publications that have been successfully published and indexed into leading international database.

MRSA is recognition awarded by two prestigious indexing agencies, Clarivate Analytics and Elsevier. The evaluation involved nine (9) categories, Frontier Researcher, Hot Review Paper, Top Peer Reviewer, Research and Innovation Excellence, Highly Cited Reseacher 2017, International Research Collaboration and Young Researcher apart from Prominent Topics in Research and High Impact Paper.

The awards were presented by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education, Dato' Mohd Ghazali Abas who represented the Malaysian Education Minister.
