I am a Professor of Accounting and Finance.
I have successfully supervised 9 PhD students, 2 DBA students
and more than 14master’s students in the area of
accounting and finance. I have been appointed as PhD
and master’s thesis examiner by Universiti Malaya (UM),
Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti
Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and University of Waikato, New Zealand.

Ministry of Higher-Education Malaysia

I received my PhD in Financial Mathematics from

Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand.

My current research is in financial derivatives pricing,

as well as in applications of data mining techniques

and applied Artificial Intelligence. My research has

been published in leading mathematical journals

including Applied Mathematics and Computation, 

Methodology and Computing in Applied Probability,

and AIMS Mathematics.
