SINTOK April 28 2019 – Professor Dr Norazah Mohd Suki, Director of PhD & D. Management Programme Othman Yeop Abdullah School of Business (OYAGSB) welcomed over 30 doctoral candidates who took part in the day-long research training sessions as part of the Doctoral Training Series organized by OYAGSB.
The morning session began with ProfessorDr Mohd Zaini Abd Karim on the topic of “Application of Econometrics in Research” where participants learned econometric techniques and how to carry out on their own empirical analysis.
In the afternoon session, ProfessorDr Roslan Abdul Hakim gave his talk on “Identification of Problem Statement and Research Gap” where he shared his personal experiences and that of these students in developing their problem statement.
The doctoral training sessions was a good opportunity for the participant to communicate and share what they have learned, mirrored by the multitude of questions forwarded and discussed.
This is the first two installations of doctoral training talks of a series of ten talks programmed each week till the end of July 2019
