OTHMAN YEOP ABDULLAH GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS CONFIRMS ITSELF IN THE TOP 2% OF BUSINESS SCHOOLS GLOBALLY WITH AMBA RE-ACCREDITATION

Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia has officially received re-accreditation from the Association of MBAs (AMBA)one of the world’s leading authorities in post-graduate business education, demonstrating its continuing commitment to excellence in management education.

Upon receiving AMBA accreditation, all current MBA and recent MBA alumni of Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business are invited to join AMBA’s global member community of more than 60,000 students and alumni in more than 150 countries on a free basis, for networking, thought leadership, career development, and a variety of benefits.

Accreditation from the Association of MBAs represents the highest standard of achievement in post-graduate business education. Its rigorous assessment criteria ensure that only the highest-calibre programmes which demonstrate the best standards in teaching, curriculum, and student interaction achieve Association of MBAs accreditation.

The Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business (OYAGSB) is one of the leading graduate schools of business in Malaysia. It focuses on professional and multidisciplinary postgraduate business education. The programme portfolios include Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Business Management (MBM), Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), and Doctor of Management (D Management).

During the accreditation process conducted by AMBA, members of the accreditation panel, representing senior management from globally accredited business schools, commended the school’s impressive commitment to research.

The panel also commended the collegiate, inclusive, and diverse team that is dedicated to the academic wellbeing of participants at the school.

Finally, the panel mentioned that the school’s move from Kuala Lumpur represents a pragmatic change which was seen to respond positively to the market.
