Dr Zaemah Zainuddin is an Associate Professor in Finance at OYAGSB, Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur. Her research interests include FinTech, corporate finance, climate financing, real estate market, sustainability financing, REITs, Islamic finance and financial planning. Dr Zaemah has received several research grants from local and international organizations. She is the principal researcher for Islamic Finance Education grant in 2015 and National, co-researcher for TRGS Grant from Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (housing market affordability) and University Grant (Financial Planning). Two of her articles have won Best Merit Paper Award (2014) and Best Poster Award (2015) in several International Conferences. In 2021, her research won the Silver Award in the International Joint- E Conference organized by Taylor’s University. Dr Zaemah is also a keynote speaker at Islamic Finance Seminar in Tokyo while launching her International Islamic Finance book. At Asia level, she has been an active speaker at the Islamic Economics and Finance (IEF) Trisakti Universiti since 2019. Dr Zaemah holds professional certificate in Shariah RFP, CFP and IFP. She is also very active with Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC) as a trainer and examiner for Shariah Financial Planning modules. She also holds certificate in FinTech: Innovation and Transformation in Financial Services from National University of Singapore (NUS)
