SINTOK December 22 2019 – Othman Yeop Abdullah School of Business held its third and final triannual 2019 Doctoral Symposium (previously OYAGSB Doctoral Colloquium) today at its home campus in Sintok.
Associate Prof Dr Zaleha Othman, OYAGSB resident faculty member delivered her keynote speech on “Research that Matters”. The forty five minute presentation cumulated into more than an hour long presentation owing to the enthusiastic Q&A session ensuing.
Eleven doctoral candidates who are currently pursuing their doctoral studies presented their research ideas guided by a panel of five experience researcher from the school. The event serves as a platform for OYAGSB students doing their PhD, Doctoral Management or DBA a friendly, supportive and constructive environment to present their research in progress for open discussion. On completing their presentation, participants were presented with certificate of completion.
It is hoped that this program helped students make good informed decisions about their research and ultimately help them achieve their goal.
